It was around 2 in the afternoon when I went to Bogart's and I was kinda feeling steak so I ordered one. The waitress was nice and friendly. We added a side of baked beans and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. 12 OZ Chopped Steak, onion… None of them were cooked as ordered, they were paper thin. She also forgot my salad, so I told her that this had been a horrible dining experience and that she should speak to the cooks as everything was burnt. Meals

My 12 oz Ribeye was about 1/4 inch thick. When I finally got her attention that my child's popcorn shrimp didnt look right and had huge black veins in them and ask to change the order. I have to say not our best experience we have ever had and service was awful. Atmosphere. The place is ok .My second time here... both times, I had great food. My husband orgered a burger, well done. The waitress came back and apologized to us multiple times, but having restaurant experience myself I know there is only so much she can do. 3 of the 4 of us ordered steak.

When you’re in town asking for restaurant recommendations apparently never trust strangers. Parking is beside the building but at noon there weren't many empty spaces. But dont leave without trying their fried oreos! service is super fast- which is especially important for 2 hungry roadtrippers. Dinner English. So we got up and left for Maggie's Galley in Waynesville,  which is a great seafood place with excellent service as well.This is about 3.5 stars restaurant. We ordered 2 burgers "medium" and all the way. The fried oysters were still good as were the onion rings. The seafood was mushy and undesirable to look at. The food terrible. It must be good for the local that many have attend. It was basically eating at a Shoney’s with bigger price tags.My husband and I split the seafood platter. We have been there regularly for the catfish on Wednesday's & typically the service is good. Monday: Browse After an hour of waiting on the    Food to arrive and then taking it home with only a 15 minute ride to my house I ended up with horrendous looking meal.
