A paranormal romance - a bit different than my usual reads. LOL.

Geared toward fantasy/paranormal lovers this novel is an enjoyable read that will keep you intrigued.Just finished my new Nora Roberts book. Find all the books, read about the author, and more. I would definitely recommend that you reed this, Noras book just seem to get better just love her story lines.

It became frustratingly annoying that i even created a 'bookshelf' and tagged this as "frustrating"! "Stars of Fortune", by Nora Roberts, is the 1st book in her "The Guardians" trilogy. I will tell you why but you should just stop reading this review if you intend to read this book or already read it and loved it. Overall, I really liked it. It is the first of a new series involving six strangers meeting and forming friendships and more as they pursue a quest.

I'd hoped the mermaid story of book two would be better, but I read the kindle sample and it was worse.

!So, you think this is a book about cool characters and their powers and this interesting mission that they're on right?

I've read over 100 of her books and 3+ star enjoyed over 95% probably.

This is NOT the galley or an ARC, but the official print book that will be sold in stores. Roberts pulls it off though I think the brilliant, almost sensual, setting helped keep it flowing.Too bad I am also reading "The Circle Trilogy" by Nora Roberts because "The Guardians Trilogy" seems an awful lot like it. But, these trilogies were published almost 10 years apart and there are significant plot differences. I just love starting a brand new book of Nora Roberts, especially if it's a trilogy. While I did enjoy the book, I did not read it as eagerly as some books because the story was so similar to some of her other books that I felt as if I'd read it before.

Nora Roberts always delivers. Two years back when I saw this book, I was beyond excited because it was the first book of another trilogy with a magic and fantasy element to it.

Nora Roberts does it again! If you've read one before, you know more or less what you'll get with this one, though Roberts does a mix-n-match on the mythology for this one. It became frustratingly annoying that i even created a 'bookshelf' and tagged this as "frustrating"! UPDATE 07-05-16: Stars of Fortune really is only star, but I gave it three earlier because I like several other Nora Roberts novels and I didn't want to admit that I'd wasted my money and my time forcing myself to read the whole thing. . The characters have all been set up and there is a good background laid out. It's a bit difficult to describe this reading experience.
