Lakendrahartung. Great sets, many memorable characters. An eye opening movie and might be a little too disturbing for some people, due to the nudity and theme of child prostitution. Uncut, uncropped European version playable in Region 1 and with an English soundtrack. Enjoy this movie, whether for prurient interest, curiosity or to experience New Orleans a while back. Personally, I found that there was no need for a 12 year old Brooke Sheilds to be naked & was quite disturbed by this.

I watched this when I was young in the 80s... now watching it as an adult it's pretty disturbing lol.. it is such an interesting, well done movie but man are there some tough scenes to watch.
... High rating, pretty baby has a good story line which is plausible. A child or in this story children being raised in a New Orleans brothel and all the goings on in this whore house that the children witness on a day to day basis.

She is very young in this and it is a respectable plot and it does touch on very sensitive issues, but that doesn't mean it is not tastefully and quite stylishly done.

My favorite part is the Era in which the movie was filmed.
