This is a super movie, with a terrific climatic ending! ...so just watched seasons 1-4 from the box set and wanted the film on bluray - stunning (especially as the dvds are so historically bad) quality - watched the film once through then straight away again with the new commentary. )X-File fans were looking for answers but just got another chapter in the alien story Our payment security system encrypts your information during transmission.
Can't wait for the next series to come out.
Summary: One of Scully's friends from the FBI academy, now working in the Violent Crimes Unit, asks her to assist him on a homicide investigation involving no clear point of entry.
Very happy with this bluray the picture has been cleared up and the audio sounds good. The movie takes place between seasons 5 and 6. She must know that exact moment when the audience cannot endure another moment of titillation and mystery, when the last of the clothes must be flung into the audience with one bold, satisfying, catharsis-inducing gesture...and then she must act on that intuition.
Really was a treat! In retrospect I feel it was better than the later movie 'I Want to Believe' which could have had amazing scenes but somehow fell short of its potential - the final lab scenes seemed disappointing after seeing the spaceship from the '98 movie.

Scully asks Mulder to assist them on the case and, despite his reputation in the Bureau, he agrees.
