Funny to read the other reviews some of which just don’t get it. It is a collection of mainly Victorian toys. Many longstanding customers who remember our toys from their childhood return again and again, to buy for themselves, for their friends and the children in their lives. This is an EXPERIENCE. If the museum was bigger with much more content then maybe I would be happy to pay a quarter of the price BUT the one thing that was so disappointing was theDon’t expect a highly curated history of the toy.
It is run more for the benefit of the public and to display the collection than for profit.Please do come and visit the museum.
It felt unchanged since I last visited in 1968 and I loved it.
