Awesome blog post!Right!! It is perched on top of a tall cape overlooking the Saint Lawrence River. The divisive Duplessis, who served as Premier of Quebec from 1936 to 1939 and again from 1944 to 1959, took over a grand room adjacent to the hotel’s restaurant, Le Champlain, and made it his office in the 1950s. There are 3 restaurants at Frontenac: A casual wine and cheese bar called 1608, a restaurant called Bistro Le Sam and a high end, fancy restaurant, Champlain. It smells divine!I love that all the Fairmont hotels use top quality ingredients and usually have multiple restaurants for different price levels.
