Check the file size of the EBOOK you're trying to send. Calibre used to work and send books to my kindle just fine when it was at 2.53 but updating it caused the problem, and I really don't want to create an account.

It has worked correctly in the past using Calibre v2.61 and configured to use my ISP's smtp server.

In Calibre after you’re connected, you see your device, which on clicking shows you the entire library of books.
